As we age, our skin naturally begins to show signs of expression—smiles, frowns, and laughter all leave their mark. Anti-wrinkle injections are a safe, effective, and non-surgical way to soften these lines and restore a more youthful, relaxed appearance.
At my clinic, I offer a range of targeted treatments using muscle-relaxing injections to address common areas of concern:
Forehead Lines (Frontalis) – Smooth horizontal lines caused by raising the eyebrows.
Frown Lines (Glabella) – Soften the vertical lines between the brows, often called “11s.
Crow’s Feet (Orbicularis Oculi) – Gently reduce fine lines around the outer corners of the eyes.
Downturned Smile (DAO) – Lift the corners of the mouth for a more positive expression.
Lip Flip – Enhance the upper lip’s shape by relaxing the muscle just above it.
Gummy Smile – Reduce the appearance of gum exposure when smiling.
Jelly Roll – Smooth the small bulge under the eyes that appears when smiling.
Masseter (Jaw Slimming/Teeth Grinding) – Soften the jawline and relieve tension from clenching or grinding.
Platysmal Bands (Neck Lines) – Improve the appearance of vertical neck bands for a more defined profile.
Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis) – Reduce underarm or palm sweating with targeted treatment
How Do Anti-Wrinkle Injections Work?
In simple terms, these injections work by gently relaxing the tiny muscles under your skin that cause wrinkles when they contract. When we frown, smile, or squint, our facial muscles move—and over time, those repeated movements create lines. Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily block the signals from the nerves to the muscles, so the muscles stay relaxed. This softens existing lines and helps prevent new ones from forming, giving the skin a smoother, fresher look.
What to Expect
Treatments are quick, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Results typically begin to appear within a few days and last around 3–4 months, depending on the area treated and individual response.
Important Note
As a Nurse Prescriber, I am qualified to assess, prescribe, and administer these treatments safely and professionally. A face-to-face consultation is required before any treatment to ensure suitability, discuss your goals, and create a personalised treatment plan.
